About This Access Site
Big Blake Lake is a 208-acre lake in Polk County near Luck, Wisconsin, offering convenient public access for paddlers and boaters. The lake has a maximum depth of 14 feet with relatively consistent depths throughout, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. In addition to this boat ramp, a second public launch and one carry-in access point are available around the lake.

The lake supports a healthy fishery including musky, northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, and panfish, making it popular with anglers. Given its modest size and depth, Big Blake Lake is ideal for recreational paddling and day trips. For paddlers seeking more extensive waterway exploration, the nearby Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway offers additional adventure opportunities along the St. Croix and Namekagon rivers.
