Big Bradford Lake

Big Bradford Lake is a 255-acre lake located in Frederic, Otsego County, offering a public boat ramp access site operated by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). The access point is situated on the southeast shoreline of the lake, providing convenient launching for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. With a maximum depth of 102 feet, the lake offers good water depth for recreational paddling and boating throughout most of the season.

The site includes trailer parking facilities to accommodate vehicle and boat trailers, making it accessible for paddlers launching larger canoes or kayaks with support equipment. The area is also home to the Gaylord South/Bradford Lake KOA Holiday campground nearby, which offers additional amenities including kayak and paddleboard rentals if needed.
