The Big Chief Drive access point is a public boat ramp located on the east shore of Cedar Creek Reservoir near Gun Barrel City. This is one of two primary public launch facilities on the reservoir, offering a spacious ramp and ample parking for convenient boat access. To reach the ramp, take US 175 to Texas 334/FM 85, pass through Gun Barrel City, and turn left on Big Chief Drive just before the bridge.
