Big Lake Ramp

Big Lake is a 827-acre lake located in Land O' Lakes, Vilas County, offering public boat ramp access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. With a maximum depth of 61 feet, the lake provides diverse paddling opportunities and supports a healthy fishery including musky, northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and panfish. The ramp is conveniently situated for launching small craft and recreational vessels.

This access point is well-positioned for paddlers exploring the Land O' Lakes region. Several reservable campgrounds are located within 10 miles, including Pomeroy Lake Camp, Moosehead Lake Camp, and Sylvania Wilderness Backcountry Camping, making it easy to plan multi-day paddling trips.
