Big Sioux Park offers a public boat ramp providing direct access to the Big Sioux River near Akron in Plymouth County, Iowa. The 270-acre park features a dedicated launch facility suitable for canoes, kayaks, and other small boats. If you don't have your own vessel, canoes and kayaks are available for rental by reservation through Oak Grove Park.
