Big Spunk Lake

Big Spunk Lake is a 415-acre lake in Stearns County, Minnesota, offering public access via a dedicated boat ramp on the south shore just south of Avon on County Road 9. The ramp can accommodate boats up to 12-18 feet, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. The site includes 20 vehicle parking spaces and provides free access—no launch fees are required at this location.

The lake has a maximum depth of 38 feet and provides a scenic paddling and boating environment. A second public water access site is also available on the northwest shore if you prefer an alternate launch location.
