About This Access Site
Located fourteen miles west of Maryville in Nodaway County, Bilby Ranch Lake Conservation Area provides a concrete boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. The 150-acre site features a floating fishing dock and fish cleaning station, with all facilities designed to be disabled accessible. A privy is also available on-site.

The lake supports a healthy warm-water fishery with largemouth bass, channel catfish, and bluegill, making it an attractive destination for anglers and recreational paddlers. The conservation area encompasses grassland and cropland, offering a pleasant natural setting for paddling and outdoor recreation. This is a solid option for paddlers seeking a well-developed access point with decent amenities in northwest Missouri.
