About This Access Site
Billings Park is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facility located on the south shore of Green Peter Reservoir on the Middle Santiam River near Cascadia. The ramp is accessed via the road that runs over the top of the dam, making it a convenient entry point for boaters launching onto this popular Willamette Valley reservoir. The park is part of the Green Peter Lake recreation area, which offers boating, swimming, and picnicking opportunities.

Note that if you're planning a visit, check current facility status before heading out, as the park has experienced seasonal closures. For year-round access, the nearby Thistle Creek Boat Ramp on the north side of the reservoir is an alternative option and was extended in 1999 to accommodate winter low-pool conditions. Both facilities serve kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters looking to access Green Peter Reservoir.
