Birdsong Marina provides a well-maintained concrete launching facility on Birdsong Creek, a scenic tributary off the Tennessee River's Kentucky Lake. The 65' x 65' lighted concrete ramp is ideal for kayaks, canoes, and larger motorboats. Access requires navigating 1.5 miles up the deep, well-buoyed channel from the main Tennessee River channel—follow the Birdsong billboard on the left bank as your entry point. The creek itself offers calm, sheltered paddling conditions typical of a Kentucky Lake tributary.
Beyond boat launching, Birdsong Marina is a full-service facility with amenities including a 140-slip marina, overnight docking for larger vessels, fuel (gas and diesel), engine repairs, and a snack bar. The site welcomes transient boaters and paddlers. For paddlers specifically, the creek provides a scenic, protected paddling environment, while the marina's central location on Kentucky Lake makes it a convenient access point for broader lake exploration.
