About This Access Site
Located near Marion, MT on the north shore of Little Bitterroot Lake, the Bitterroot Lions Youth Camp provides boat access to this scenic 3,000-acre lake. The lake offers over 11 miles of shoreline and average depths exceeding 100 feet, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational boating. Easy-access concrete boat ramps are available on the western shore, with a small public park featuring restrooms nearby for visitor convenience.

The campground operates seasonally from May 15 through October 1 and is located approximately 12 miles west of Kalispell. While the facility is primarily designed for youth events, weddings, and family reunions, paddlers can access the lake with basic amenities available. Note that the access road features a sharp hairpin turn, making it unsuitable for RVs. For more information or to confirm current conditions, contact the camp at 406-854-2755. The nearby Lost Trail National Wildlife Refuge adds to the natural recreation opportunities in the area.
