About This Access Site
Black Beach Resort provides a low-bank boat ramp with easy water access to Curlew Lake near Republic, Washington. The resort offers excellent facilities for paddlers and boaters, including moorage docks, boat rentals (for registered guests), and full RV hookups if you're planning an overnight trip. The town of Republic is just eight miles away and has grocery stores and sports shops for provisioning.

Curlew Lake is well-suited for both motorized boating and paddling. The central lake section accommodates water skiing and general boating, while the southern end narrows considerably and features small islands—making it particularly ideal for kayaking and canoeing. The resort is closed during winter months. Note that the resort offers free boat launch access to registered guests; contact them at (509) 775-3989 for current information about day-use access and fees. Additional public access points on Curlew Lake include Tiffany's Resort, Fisherman's Cove Resort, and Curlew Lake State Park (Discovery Pass required).
