The Black Brook Flowage boat ramp is located at 1094 40th Ave in Amery, Polk County, about 1 mile east of Black Brook County Park. This public access point features a single concrete ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats, with a boarding dock and off-road parking available at no cost. Note that there are no bathroom facilities on-site.

Black Brook Flowage is a 69-acre impoundment with a maximum depth of 23 feet, making it accessible for various water activities. The flowage connects to the Apple River system, though paddlers should be aware that dangerous rapids exist below the dam at the outlet—exercise caution in this area and plan your route carefully. The deeper waters make this suitable for both fishing and recreational paddling.
