About This Access Site
Blanton Creek Park offers a convenient boat ramp and access point to the 5,850-acre Bartlett's Ferry Lake, also known as West Point Lake. This concrete, two-lane boat ramp is located in the northeast corner of the lake, off Blanton Creek Park Road. The ramp includes a floating dock to assist with launching and loading kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats.

The surrounding Blanton Creek Park provides additional amenities for visitors, including handicap-accessible campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. A marina, boat rentals, and a restaurant are also available on-site. Bartlett's Ferry Lake is a popular destination for fishing, with creeks and 40 square miles of lake offering abundant opportunities to catch bass, crappie, and other game fish.

Paddlers and small boaters will find the lake's protected coves and inlets well-suited for calm water exploration. The Chattahoochee River feeds the lake, which has a moderate flow and gentle gradient. Whether you're launching a kayak, canoe, or small motorized craft, Blanton Creek Park provides a well-equipped access point to enjoy the scenic beauty of Bartlett's Ferry Lake.
