Blennerhassett Yacht Club

Located in Belpre along the Ohio River in Washington County, the Blennerhassett Yacht Club offers a public boat ramp for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. Established in 1947, the facility welcomes boaters of all experience levels and provides access to scenic views of the Ohio River surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills. This is one of four public access points in the area for launching watercraft on the Ohio River.

The ramp provides convenient access to the Belleville Pool section of the Ohio River, which maintains a navigable channel extending 41.5 miles upstream to Willow Island Locks & Dam. Paddlers can expect a large, managed river system suitable for various craft types. The area offers good opportunities for longer paddling trips along the Ohio River as well as exploration of nearby tributaries, which are noted as particularly suitable for kayaking. Anglers will also find fishing opportunities throughout the region.
