Blue Springs Marina is a full-service marina located on the shores of Lake Oconee in Buckhead, Georgia. The marina offers a convenient boat ramp for easy access to the lake, making it a popular destination for kayakers, canoeists, and power boaters.
Lake Oconee is a large, scenic reservoir formed by the Oconee River. With a surface area of over 19,000 acres, the lake provides ample room for a variety of water sports and recreational activities. Paddlers can explore the lake's coves and inlets, while power boaters can take advantage of the lake's expansive open waters.
The Blue Springs Marina facility includes boat and RV storage, a full-service bait and tackle shop, and a restaurant. Boaters can fuel up with non-ethanol high-test gas and take advantage of the marina's other amenities. The site is part of the Dyar Pasture Recreation Area, which is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and may require a recreation pass for access.
