About This Access Site
Bluff Creek Landing provides access to Walter F. George Reservoir on the Chattahoochee River in Russell County, Alabama. This is a major river system with significant water volume, averaging over 20,000 cubic feet per second flow. The reservoir setting offers a more controlled environment than the main river channel, making it suitable for various boating activities.

The Chattahoochee River is a major waterway with considerable drainage area and flow characteristics. The location offers access to a substantial body of water that supports multiple types of recreational boating and fishing activities.

This access point serves as a gateway to the Walter F. George Reservoir system, providing opportunities for both motorized and non-motorized recreation. Users should be prepared for a major river system with significant water volume and respect standard safety practices for larger water bodies.
