Bluff View Marina is a well-maintained public boat ramp facility located in Piedmont on Clearwater Lake in Reynolds County. The ramp provides convenient access to this scenic 4,400-acre reservoir, known for its beautiful bluffs, natural springs, and excellent fishing—particularly during the spring white bass run. The facility is part of the larger Bluff View Recreation Area and offers easy beach and ramp access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters.
The facility is part of a full-service recreation complex that includes a 60-site campground with electric and water hookups, a swimming area, playground, and an interpretive nature trail. Note that cell service is not available in the area. Campground reservations are available from mid-May through mid-September; outside those dates, camping is first-come, first-serve. Clearwater Lake is also notable for year-round bald eagle nesting, making it an excellent destination for wildlife observation between paddling sessions.
