About This Access Site
The Boat Ramp Road access site provides a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats on the White River near Springdale, Arkansas. The White River is a major Ozark headwater stream, flowing over 1,050 miles with an average gradient of 7.4 feet per mile. At this location, the river is quite large, with an average flow of over 34,800 cubic feet per second.

The boat ramp itself is part of the War Eagle Campground, a recreation area managed by the U.S. Forest Service. While the campground itself is reservable, the boat ramp appears to be available for public use. Nearby, there is one other campground option within 10 miles. Paddlers and boaters should be prepared for the river's substantial size and flow, and check for any current restrictions or conditions before launching. Overall, this access point provides a good put-in for exploring the scenic White River by human-powered or small motorized craft.
