About This Access Site
Bond Lake is a 279-acre lake in Minong, Douglas County, offering two public concrete boat ramps for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters. The main ramp is located on the southwest end of the lake off Red Ball Trail, while a second ramp provides access from the southeast side off East Lake Drive. This gives paddlers flexibility in choosing their launch point depending on where they plan to explore on the lake.

With a maximum depth of 67 feet, Bond Lake provides good water depth for various watercraft and recreational activities. The lake supports a healthy fishery including panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye, making it popular for anglers as well as paddlers. Limited shore fishing access is also available for those interested in bank angling. The publicly-owned ramps make this a convenient, accessible destination for day trips or longer paddling adventures in the Douglas County area.
