Bonham State Park Lake is a 65-acre impoundment located southeast of Bonham in Fannin County. The main boat ramp is situated on the south shore at the east end of the lake and is accessible via FM 273 northeast of Bonham, turning east on Recreation Road 3. A secondary ramp access is available approximately 2 miles north of Recreation Road 3 off FM 273—turn onto Fannin County Road 2524 and follow to Boat Ramp Road. The park also features a dock and lighted fishing pier.
This is a calm, inland lake setting ideal for kayaks, canoes, and recreational boats. The modest size of the lake makes it suitable for paddlers of all skill levels looking for a relaxed paddling experience.
