About This Access Site
The Bowery Creek boat ramp provides access to the scenic Fish Lake in central Utah's Fishlake National Forest. Fish Lake is Utah's largest natural mountain lake, covering 2,500 acres. It's known for its trophy-sized Mackinaw lake trout, as well as rainbow trout and splake.

The boat ramp is located just off Highway 25, about 9.5 miles northeast of the town of Loa. Three marinas on the west shore of the lake - Lakeside Resort Marina, Fish Lake Lodge Marina, and Bowery Haven Marina - also offer launching and seasonal docking. Hikers can access stunning lake views by climbing 900 feet in elevation from the campground area.

Trolling is a popular fishing method on Fish Lake. Boaters and anglers should observe any regulations posted at the ramps and help keep the area free of litter. More information on motorized boating and fishing in Utah is available through the state's Division of Outdoor Recreation.
