About This Access Site
Boyds Key West offers convenient boat ramp access to the Atlantic Ocean from Stock Island in the Florida Keys. Located at the southernmost end of the Keys near Key West city limits, this full-service facility accommodates vessels of various sizes and provides excellent access to both Atlantic and Gulf waters. The ramp is part of a well-equipped park that includes boat slips, dock space, a fishing pier, and trailer storage. Daily ramp access is $50 per day.

The location provides immediate access to the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and is just minutes from the world's third-largest living barrier reef—making it an excellent launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters interested in exploring pristine marine environments. The facility offers amenities including a heated pool, full bathhouse with showers and laundry, and on-site food service. For paddlers planning to explore the area, the nearby Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center (free admission) on the Truman Annex waterfront offers educational exhibits about local ecosystems and marine conservation.
