About This Access Site
The Brady Mountain boat ramp provides easy access to Lake Ouachita, a large, scenic reservoir on the Ouachita River in western Arkansas. The ramp features two concrete lanes, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats. While there are no docks, a picnic area is available nearby.

Lake Ouachita is known for its clear, cool waters and excellent fishing for species like bass, crappie, and catfish. At 692 miles of shoreline and 178 islands, the lake offers endless opportunities for exploration by paddlers and boaters. The Brady Mountain recreation area, including a campground, is located just 10 miles west of Hot Springs National Park, providing access to both natural and cultural attractions in the area.

Visitors should note that the Brady Mountain facility is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and may have variable hours or require fees. Paddlers and small boaters will find the boat ramp a convenient put-in point to access the beautiful waters of Lake Ouachita.
