Brant Lake

The Brant Lake Public Boat Launch is a free, state-maintained access point located on Route 8, approximately one mile northeast of the Hamlet of Brant Lake in Warren County. The facility features a hard-surface concrete ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats, making it the primary public water access on Brant Lake. Parking is available for approximately 11 vehicles and trailers in a gravel lot.

The launch offers several accessibility features including designated accessible parking, an accessible privy, and a path to the loading dock. Note that during busy weekends, parking can become limited due to the modest lot size. Since the entire shoreline of Brant Lake is private property except for this public launch area, paddlers should plan accordingly and use this facility as their primary access point for exploring the lake.
