About This Access Site
The Bridgeport Boat Ramp provides access to Guntersville Lake and the Tennessee River in northeastern Alabama. This access point is located along Alabama Highway 35 north of the town of Bridgeport, with the ramp accessible from County Road 67.

The ramp features a single stationary dock, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and small trailered boats. Security lighting is present, though no restroom facilities are available on-site. Paddlers and boaters should plan accordingly.

Guntersville Lake is a large reservoir along the Tennessee River, offering ample opportunities for recreation. The river in this area is relatively wide and slow-moving, making it well-suited for both motorized and human-powered watercraft. Paddlers can explore the scenic shorelines and coves, while larger boats can take advantage of the open water. Nearby attractions like Russell Cave National Monument provide additional hiking and historic exploration options for visitors to the area.
