About This Access Site
Britton Ford is a public boat access site located on the Tennessee River in Paris, Tennessee. The site provides a concrete boat ramp for launching canoes, kayaks, and small powerboats onto Kentucky Lake.

Kentucky Lake is a large, navigable reservoir formed by the damming of the Tennessee River. This section of the river features relatively calm, slow-moving water, making it well-suited for recreational boating and paddling. Paddlers can explore the scenic shorelines and coves of the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge, which stretches for 65 miles along the lake.

While the Britton Ford access is free to use, it is an unmanned site, so boaters should be prepared to launch and load their vessels independently. The site may have seasonal closures or other restrictions, so paddlers are advised to check for any updates before visiting.
