Broadalbin

The Broadalbin Public Boat Launch provides convenient access to Great Sacandaga Lake, a large recreational reservoir spanning Fulton and Saratoga Counties. This is one of four DEC-maintained public launches on the lake and welcomes kayakers, canoeists, and motorized vessels. The lake offers excellent conditions for paddling with a maximum depth of 74 feet, making it suitable for various water activities including boating and fishing.

When planning your visit, note that the Northville Boat Launch (located off Route 30) is an alternative DEC facility featuring a hard ramp and parking for 60 vehicles and trailers. The Great Sacandaga Lake area has multiple access points across Broadalbin, Mayfield, Northville, and Hadley, so paddlers have options depending on their preferred paddling route.
