About This Access Site
Brooken Cove is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facility offering convenient access to Eufaula Lake, Oklahoma's largest lake entirely within the state. Located on the Canadian River near Texanna in Haskell County, the recreation area features a boat ramp for easy water launch, making it a good put-in point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The campground is open seasonally (April 1–October 31) and sits along the lake's shoreline in scenic hill country.

Beyond the boat ramp, Brooken Cove provides full amenities including 73 RV campsites with hookups, picnic shelters, beach access, and drinking water facilities. A nearby marina is also available for additional services. The lake is renowned for excellent fishing—crappie, sand bass, catfish, and black bass are abundant, with striped bass exceeding 40 pounds occasionally caught in the tailwaters below the dam.

For planning your visit, contact the facility at 918-799-5843 or visit Recreation.gov for campsite reservations and day-use passes. From Enterprise, Oklahoma, take Highway 71 north for 5 miles and follow signs to the campground.
