The Browntown access site is a concrete boat ramp located on the south side of Highway 11, approximately half a mile west of Browntown in Green County. The Pecatonica River at this location offers reliable water levels throughout most of the year, making it a dependable destination for paddling. Common put-in points upstream include County Road M near Woodford (approximately 13+ miles upstream) and Highway D/N, with various segments offering different paddling distances.
