About This Access Site
Bruneau Bridge - North provides boat ramp access to CJ Strike Reservoir's Bruneau Arm on the Snake River in southwestern Idaho. Located near Bruneau in Elmore County, this access point is convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats onto the reservoir. A packed-gravel parking lot is available near the ramp, along with a double vault toilet facility. The site is part of the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Recreation Area.

The reservoir offers excellent paddling opportunities with multiple access points along both the Snake River Arm and Bruneau Arm. Paddlers exploring this area will find a mix of developed and primitive camping facilities, restrooms, and drinking water available at nearby areas. This section of the reservoir is particularly popular for wildlife viewing, including raptors and other bird species typical of high desert environments. Before paddling, check current water conditions and be aware that this is an impounded waterway with variable conditions depending on reservoir levels and operations.
