About This Access Site
Brush Creek Public Access South, located near Butlerville in Jennings County, provides access to Brush Creek Reservoir. This is an official DNR access point suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and smaller motorized watercraft. However, parking is limited to 30 minutes for loading and unloading only, so plan accordingly if you need extended parking. Note that access downstream of Brush Creek Dam is not established and not suitable for boating.

The site offers a convenient launch point for exploring the quieter waters of the reservoir. Paddlers should be aware that this is a day-use facility with strict parking time limits. If you need to leave your vehicle for an extended period, you may need to explore alternative parking options nearby or plan your trip for a quick launch and return.
