The ramp is situated at the end of Buckhorn Road on the water's edge, with dedicated parking available nearby. This is an excellent launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and small boaters looking to explore the scenic lake formed by Arbuckle Dam. The facility is part of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area and offers ample amenities including nearby campgrounds (Buckhorn Loops B and D, and Guy Sandy), picnic areas, and restrooms.

**Access & Amenities:** The site is easily accessible from I-35 (Exits 51 or 55); follow Highway 7 east toward Davis and watch for Chickasaw National Recreation Area directional signs. Note that Buckhorn Pavilion is a day-use reservation area with a $30 rental fee; reservations can be made through Recreation.gov at 580-622-7234. Full RV hookups and camping facilities are available at adjacent campgrounds. Bait and tackle shops are available in nearby Sulphur for any supplies you may need.

**Fishing & Recreation:** Year-round fishing is permitted, and the lake and surrounding area support diverse wildlife. Multiple boat ramps and docks are available at Buckhorn and nearby access points, making this an ideal base for a full day of paddling, fishing, or water recreation.
