Buffalo Lake

The Buffalo Lake boat ramp is located on the west side of the lake in Rutland, Sargent County, and provides access to one of Southeast North Dakota's premier fishing destinations. The ramp is suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats, making it a convenient launch point for paddlers and anglers alike. Note that the site may experience seasonal closures during spring and summer maintenance and construction periods, so check local conditions before planning your trip.

Buffalo Lake is known for year-round fishing opportunities, particularly for northern pike and perch.
