Bullfrog Marina (West)

The Bullfrog Marina (West) provides access to Bullfrog Bay on the expansive Lake Powell in southern Utah. This National Park Service boat ramp is operable for smaller motorized vessels when the lake level is at 3525 feet or above. While the ramp is only large enough for two lanes of boats to launch at a time, it can accommodate a range of vessels, including houseboats.

The marina offers additional amenities like a portable dump station, free boat pump-out station, and picnic area. Nearby lodging and camping options include the Bullfrog RV & Campground, Halls Crossing RV & Campground, and Stanton Creek Primitive Camping Area. Visitors should be prepared for hot summer temperatures on the lake and must pay the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area park entrance fee to access the site. Overall, the Bullfrog Marina (West) provides a convenient launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters exploring the scenic Bullfrog Bay and greater Lake Powell area.

Open seasonally. Exhibits relating to geology and the human and natural history of Glen Canyon, including a life-size model of a slot canyon! Ancestral Puebloan and pioneer artifacts. Restrooms are located 24/7 on the outside of the building near the front entrance. Some amenities are not available when the visitor center is closed.
