Bunch Reservoir is a scenic 40-acre mountain lake situated at 8,200 feet elevation in Apache County's Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest near Greer, Arizona. The reservoir offers a peaceful paddling and boating experience with an average depth of 10 feet. Access is via a public boat launch located just past mile post 1 off Forest Road 237. Note that **electric motors only** are permitted on the water, making this an ideal spot for kayakers, canoeists, and quiet recreational boating.
Anglers will find Rainbow trout and other species available (check posted signage for current bag limits). While swimming is not permitted, the site does offer nearby camping options for those planning an overnight trip. There is no barrier-free access available at this location. The reservoir is non-reservable, so it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Paddlers should be prepared for high-elevation conditions and plan accordingly for weather and water temperatures typical of mountain lakes.
