**Location & Parking:**
Burr Jones Park offers a convenient paddle launch on the east bank of the Yahara River in Madison, accessible via East Washington Avenue. Park on East Washington Avenue itself, with additional neighborhood parking available throughout the Yahara River parade route area. The access point is located near the bike path that runs through the park.

**Launch & Conditions:**
This is a concrete boat ramp providing access to the Yahara River, which connects to the Lake Mendota chain of lakes. The launch area features a paved, shared-use path system running through the Yahara River Parkway. Be aware that bridges and bike trail underpasses in this area can become crowded, particularly during peak use times. Note that the park is alcohol-free, making it a family-friendly option.
