Busse Lake is an impoundment of Salt Creek offering two main pools for paddling. The site has good amenities including a paved bike path, multiple parking areas, and a boating center with equipment rentals (canoes, kayaks, and rowboats available). Note that gas motors are not permitted—only electric trolling motors are allowed. The dam between the North and Main Pools can restrict access to the South Pool except via a separate south launch.
