Buster Hight is a well-developed public access point on McGee Creek Reservoir in McGee Creek State Park, located in the southeast corner of the lake off E Buster Hight Landing Road. The facility features a four-lane concrete boat ramp with a courtesy dock, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and larger recreational boats. Paved parking is available at the site.
The landing area offers excellent amenities for a full day of water recreation, including a fishing pier, swim beach, and playground. Additional facilities include comfort stations with shower access, a dump station, and nearby paved camping sites with water and electric hookups for those planning overnight trips. The reservoir's calm, impounded waters make it ideal for paddling and fishing, with the McGee Creek Reservoir also featuring a wildlife management area and scenic natural surroundings.
