Located in the northwest corner of Lake Tawakoni near Quinlan, Caddo Creek Public Boat Ramp provides convenient access to this 37,000-acre reservoir. The facility features a two-lane concrete boat ramp and paved parking area, situated off Caddo Creek Road north of Quinlan (accessible via Hunt County Road 2101). This is a free, public access point with no launch fees required.
The ramp is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats accessing the upper lake and Caddo Creek arm. Lake Tawakoni is a large impoundment with calm, flat water ideal for recreational paddling. The proximity to Caddo Creek Landing provides additional amenities nearby. Be aware this is located on the lake proper rather than the free-flowing river section, so expect calm conditions typical of a reservoir environment.
