About This Access Site
Muskellunge Point is a public boat access site on Caldron Falls Reservoir, a 1,063-acre lake straddling Marinette and Oconto counties in northeastern Wisconsin. Located in the Town of Silver Cliff, this ramp provides convenient access to a moderately-sized, calm-water reservoir ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The lake's maximum depth of 40 feet offers good water conditions for various paddling skill levels.

The reservoir supports a healthy fishery including musky, northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, and panfish, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational paddlers. Multiple public boat landings are available around the lake, allowing you to explore different areas or plan loop paddling routes. The scenic setting and manageable size make Caldron Falls Reservoir an accessible destination for day trips or longer paddling adventures.
