About This Access Site
Calumet County Park offers a well-developed public access point on the east shore of Lake Winnebago, about 4 miles northwest of Stockbridge. The facility features 6 dedicated launch lanes with paved parking for multiple car/trailer units, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and larger boats. The modern launch infrastructure and ample parking make this a reliable option for accessing Wisconsin's largest freshwater lake.

The 233-acre park provides amenities beyond water access, including restroom facilities, picnic areas, hiking and biking trails, and seasonal concessions. The site also supports winter ice fishing access. As one of three boat harbors operated by Calumet County Parks along this shore, the facility uses a pay station system for launches. Paddlers should note that Lake Winnebago is a large, open water body, so conditions can vary significantly—check wind and weather before launching, especially for smaller craft like kayaks and canoes.
