Camano Island State Park offers boat access to Saratoga Passage on the Salish Sea, featuring two boat ramps at Lowell Point. This is a popular launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and small watercraft looking to explore the passage with views of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and Mount Rainier. The park provides a scenic and accessible entry point for paddlers and boaters in the Island County area.
The facility includes modern amenities with restrooms, hot showers, and ADA-accessible features. Note that as of October 2025, the docks at Lowell Point are seasonally removed for winter storage until spring 2026, though the boat ramps remain operational. The park also offers camping, hiking trails with beachcombing opportunities, and a dedicated Cascadia Marine Trail site for human-powered watercraft users. Day-use fees apply for non-residents ($15) and residents ($5). For current information, hours, and seasonal updates, visit Washington State Parks at parks.wa.gov.
