Campbell Lake is a 40-acre lake in Winthrop, Okanogan County, offering public boat access via a Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) access area. The site features a single gravel boat ramp, parking spaces, and a toilet facility. Note that there is no dock available, which may make loading and unloading slower, particularly for kayakers and canoeists. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 28 feet, providing adequate water for most small craft.
To reach the site from Winthrop, follow Eastside County Road east for 1.3 miles, turn right onto Bear Creek Road for 1.8 miles, left onto Lester Road for 2.4 miles, and then right onto Campbell Lake Road for 0.9 miles to the access point on the left. The lake supports a healthy fishery with stocked Rainbow Trout and Coastal Cutthroat Trout, along with resident Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, sunfish, and catfish species, making it a good destination for anglers and recreational paddlers alike.
