Located on a scenic peninsula between Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake, this facility features modern amenities including a boat ramp, dock, and full campground with multiple bath houses. The setting provides views of Barkley Dam and the canal traffic, making it an attractive base for paddlers and boaters exploring the area.

**Access & Directions:** From I-24, take Exit 31 at Grand Rivers and head south on Highway 453 for approximately 4 miles. Turn left on J.H. O'Bryan Avenue (.1 miles), then right onto Canal Campground Road (.5 miles). The facility is situated right along the canal connecting the two lakes, making it easy to locate. Eagle nests can be spotted throughout the grounds, and its not unlikely for visitors to encounter deer and other wildlife.
