Cane Creek State Park (East) offers a well-maintained boat ramp and access site for paddlers, canoeists, and small boaters on Cane Creek. Located about 6.5 miles south of Star City, Arkansas, the ramp provides easy access to explore this headwater stream.

Cane Creek is a large, meandering river with an average flow of over 380 cubic feet per second and a total drop of nearly 8,000 feet over its 806-mile length. The section within the state park has a moderate gradient of around 10 feet per mile, making it suitable for a variety of watercraft.
