**Location & Access:** Located in Moores Mill, Blair County, this boat ramp provides access to Canoe Creek Lake, a 155-acre impoundment in the Appalachian Mountains. From US 22 (seven miles east of Hollidaysburg), turn north on Turkey Valley Road for a half mile to reach the park entrance.
**For Paddlers & Small Boaters:** This is an ideal launch for kayakers and canoeists looking for a calm, protected paddling experience. The lake is small and well-suited for non-powered vessels. A paved ADA-accessible ramp facilitates easy water entry, and the park offers boat rentals if you don't have your own. Note that non-powered boats must display valid state registration stickers. Electric motors only are permitted on the lake, keeping it peaceful for paddlers.
**Additional Recreation:** Beyond paddling, Canoe Creek State Park offers eight miles of trails year-round for hiking, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, and horseback riding. These trails wind along the shoreline through woodlands, wetlands, and meadows, passing historic limestone kilns. ADA parking is available at the boat rental concession. This makes the site a good base for a full day of outdoor activity combining water and land recreation.
