About This Access Site
Caribou Lake, a 246-acre lake located east of Minnesota State Highway 38 near Lutsen in Cook County, offers a well-developed public boat ramp for easy water access. The facility features a concrete boat ramp with an accompanying dock, making it convenient for launching and loading kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. Ample parking is available for vehicles and trailers, and there are no fees required to use the access site.

This lake is one of the more developed recreational areas in Cook County and experiences regular use throughout the open-water season.
