Caribou Lake (East)

Located east of Minnesota State Highway 38 in Duluth, the Caribou Lake East access provides convenient entry to this 246-acre lake via a concrete boat ramp with an attached dock, making it easy to launch and load kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. A gravel parking area accommodates vehicles with trailers, and the site requires no fees. Ample signage marks the location for easy navigation.

Caribou Lake is ideal for paddlers and anglers alike, with lake trout and panfish throughout the water. Note that motorized boats are permitted but limited to a 25 mph speed restriction, and personal watercraft (jet skis) are prohibited, making the lake relatively peaceful for paddling.
