Caribou Lake (West)

The Caribou Lake west access point offers a gravel boat ramp for launching onto this 246-acre lake located east of Minnesota State Highway 38, approximately 6 miles south of Marcell. The ramp provides straightforward water access for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. No fees are required to use this public access site.

Caribou Lake is a popular destination for fishing and recreational paddling during open-water months. The lake supports lake trout and panfish populations, making it appealing for anglers as well as paddlers. As one of the more developed lakes in the area with regular use, paddlers can expect a moderately busy recreational environment, particularly during peak seasons.
