About This Access Site
Catfish Paradise is a popular boat launch and access site along the southeastern banks of the Topock Marsh in the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge. The small day-use area features a concrete boat ramp, fishing dock, and trails leading into the marshy refuge.

The Topock Marsh is a large, slow-moving wetland area along the Colorado River, providing excellent paddling and birdwatching opportunities. The marsh is home to bass, crappie, catfish, and carp, making it a popular fishing destination as well. Three boat access points - North Dike, Five Mile Landing, and Catfish Paradise - allow boaters to explore the marsh.

Catfish Paradise offers a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats to access the Topock Marsh. The site has basic amenities like picnic tables but no services, so paddlers should come prepared with necessary gear and supplies. Those seeking a more immersive wilderness experience can continue on to the Snaggletooth Primitive Campground or explore the Historic Route 66 day-use area nearby.
